BOSU/Disc

image of people working out on bosu equipment.

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I was recommended to see the doctors at Physical Synergy for my right knee pain by a friend. I have been going to Physical Synergy for about 3 months now, mostly for my right knee pain. I would like to say that my knee pain is gone and now working on strengthening the muscles around my knees so that it doesn’t come back again! I have seen their professional team for other musculoskeletal issues as well. They are all very friendly, helpful and attentive to your pain/issues you are having."
